Tacoma Wedding and Portrait Photographer
I photograph weddings and portraits with an emphasis on honesty, connection, and the moments that matter most. With a calm, documentary-driven approach, I create images that feel natural, timeless, and deeply personal and true to who you are. I work with analog film whenever possible, adding a layer of authenticity and intention to the final images.

A photograph starts with light. What gives it meaning is connection.
I believe the most powerful images are made through trust and vulnerability.
when you’re fully present and allowed to be yourself. Those moments become memories that last far beyond the day they’re captured.
My work is rooted in honesty — moments that feel real, unforced, and deeply personal. I approach photography with a documentary mindset, drawn to natural connection and the quiet in-between moments that tell a more complete story. Whether I’m photographing an intimate portrait session or a wedding day unfolding in the mountains, I’m always looking for emotion, presence, and truth.
Photography entered my life early on, introduced by my dad, a longtime hobbyist who taught me the fundamentals and encouraged curiosity. I later learned a great deal about photographing people and energy through shooting concerts — capturing moments as they unfolded, without interruption. Over time, the work became less about the technical and more about how an image feels. That focus has shaped my style ever since.
I’m based in Tacoma, Washington, where I live with my wife Alicia, our son Lane, and our little dog, Zoey. Outside of photography, you’ll usually find me cooking fresh meals, riding my bike, listening to vinyl, or enjoying a good americano. I also play guitar and spent years touring the West Coast in hardcore punk bands — experiences that continue to shape how I connect with people and move through the world.
I bring warmth, calm, and genuine care into every session. I believe the strongest images come from trust and comfort, which is why connection with my clients is essential. If my work resonates with you, I’d love to meet, talk things through, and see what we can create together.
