Brittany and Jacob planned a beautiful event for the Mount Peak Farm wedding in Enumclaw, WA. A rustic but elevated farm style venue situated in the foothills surrounding Mt. Rainer. Simplicity of style and bold colors set the tone for the look of this wedding, I particularly enjoyed their floral choices and Brittany’s dress. A fun gathering with family, kids and friends is always a blast to shoot. I focus on candid photos and details the most and try my hardest to capture the feeling as well as the events of the day.
I shot this wedding on Digital and Analog Film – opting for a mix of 35mm color and black and white film stocks. This was my first wedding gig using a mirrorless camera, the Nikon Zf and it handled the task beautiful – excellent colors from that camera with lightning fast autofocus, a perfect compliment to my film setup. For 35mm film I shot using a Contax G1 rangefinder and a Nikon F100.
