Savannah and Justin celebrated their love with a intimate Lakewold Gardens wedding ceremony. Surrounded by their closest friends and family at the beautiful Lakewold Gardens in Lakewood, Washington. They traveled all the way from Florida to make this special moment a reality, planning long distance with the assistance of a great planning team. This event was primarily shot on film using a mix of 35mm and medium format cameras. Digital was used to fill in the gaps, particularly for fast moments. I used a selection of my favorite color and black and white films to create these images.
We were treated to a sunny day in the lush garden which adds bursts of light through the trees. Guests were welcomed to this picturesque Lakewold Gardens wedding with hand painted signs and harp music to lead them to the ceremony. An elaborate semi-circle floral arch was the centerpiece of the ceremony with drapes of dangling flowers and greens cascading around our couple.
Guests mingled and enjoyed their drinks in the surrounding garden areas during reception. Dinner was served on long tables overflowing with gorgeous floral displays, the honeymoon table was bursting with beauty. All of the floral design added to the splendor of the already beautifully orchestrated garden setting for this wedding.
Speeches and toasts and cake cutting followed while the group partied into the night, capping off a wonderful romantic day.
