I am such a sucker for day trips and one of my favorite places in the Northwest is Port Townsend. It’s a quaint Victorian city on the water with a strong maritime past which still shines through today. A popular destination in Port Townsend is Fort Worden, an old military installation that defended the coastline with massive guns stowed on top of a series of concrete bunkers. It’s close proximity to the Strait of Juan de Fuca with the San Juan islands and Vancouver Island in the distance make it a beautiful place to catch a sunset.
Hope and Andy were naturals at modeling, some people don’t let the initial awkwardness of having a camera pointed at them get to them. These two adapted quickly and we got some really great shots. I love when it all comes together.
