The new All-Ages music venue in Tacoma is called Real Art and they have set out to create a space for music lovers of all ages and backgrounds to enjoy live music. This endeavor is close to my heart since live music and all ages venues have had a huge role in shaping who I am and what I believe. Music is so powerful and has the might to change opinions and encourage thought as well as give you something to groove to. Very happy that Tacoma has this venue and I hope that the city embraces it.
This was Real Art’s first major show and it sure seemed like a success to me! Great crowd showed up for two excellent acts; the local support of Colonies and the headliner David Bazan (or Pedro the Lion fame as well as a myriad of other works).
